History
In 1996, Peter Liegl founded Forest River in Elkhart, Indiana. From the beginning, he was committed to building an RV company that produced nothing but the highest quality RVs. He had years of experience thanks to a previous position at Cobra Industries, another RV manufacturer, which gave him a leg up. He acquired portions of that company and used them to build the Forest River we know today.
